Plant Lore

Plant Lore is a skill in Villagers & Heroes.

Plant Lore is a versatile skill line that allows the collection of many valuable resources. A player skilled in Plant Lore can collect harvest from a variety of trees, shrubs, mushrooms, and stumps.

Gather Locations

Experts in Plant Lore can gather from a very large variety of locations, or nodes. Click on a gathering node to use your Plant Lore Skill and a Sickle to harvest the material it contains. If your Plant Lore level is equal to or greater than the level of the node, you will always succeed at harvesting something. If your Plant Lore level is lower, then there is a chance that you will fail to harvest anything. The further below the level of the node you are, the less likely you are to harvest anything.

Wood Trees and Logs

Using a Wood Tree will harvest wood up to two levels below and two levels above the level of the Wood Tree, with the exception of the Gandymeade Grove Wood Trees, which only have wood of the same level.

Safe places to gather for those who don't like combat:

• Ethos Island zones and Ardent Hub (Cronk Island and Ardent City): gatherable nodes for all levels 1-10.
• Lake Kiwa: gatherable nodes for all levels 10-29.
• Forever Tree: gatherable nodes for all levels 30-39.
• The Thriving Isles: gatherable nodes for all levels 40-59.
• The Stone Gardens: gatherable nodes for all levels 60-74.

Fruit Trees & Berry Bushes

Using a Fruit Tree will harvest fruit up to two levels below and two levels above the level of the Fruit Tree, with the exception of the Dagmar Strand Fruit Trees, which only have fruit of the same level.

Mushrooms

Using a Gather Mushroom will harvest mushrooms up to two levels below and two levels above the level of the Gather Mushroom, with the exception of the Briny Caverns Gather Mushrooms, which only have mushrooms of the same level.

Tool Required

Plant lore requires the Sickle tool - a sharp sickle can pull down fruit from a tree, slice a mushroom from its colon, even break off a branch of tough ironwood. The following variants of the Sickle exists:

Fruit

Fruit is a unique type of material because of its many uses. A player can use fruit in a variety of recipes, or simply eat the fruit plain.

Wood

Characters can use their skill in woodcrafting to turn raw wood into sturdy beams. These beams can then be shaped and enhanced into powerful weapons.

Mushrooms

The fungi of the Seven Realms have many uses, such as cooking healing elixirs, or creating flawless tailoring badges.

Gralla Seeds

The Gralla tree is thought to be a related cousin to the elder root species. This seed grants the consumer the power and might of the majestic timber. They increase your Masteries for 10'.

Fleetrindra

Fleetindra tends to grow very slowly, and seems to only sprout up under the shelter of other plants. They increase the run and mounted speed for about 5'.
