Heroes Journey: Understanding is a Quest in Villagers & Heroes.
I am familiarizing myself with the current issues at hand that surround the threat to the Seven Realms.
Prerequisite
- None

- Maplecrest next to the king in Ardent Castle (F6).
Objectives
- Ask Arcra about Mallok.
- Ask Arcra about Elder Bosses.
- Ask Arcra about Elder Gear.
- Return to Maplecrest.
Rewards
- 3 silver, 90 copper
- 45500 XP
Walkthrough
- Head back toward the portal and turn right to find Arcra (G5). You can ask her many things about elders, but you specifically need to ask her about Mallok, Elder Bosses, and Elder Gear.
- Return to Maplecrest to complete this quest and begin Heroes Journey: Local Trouble.
Dialogue
Maplecrest: "Keep an eye out, but welcome to Ardent Castle!"
You "I have come to aid the Seven Realms."
Maplecrest: "Do you have the courage, bravery, and the strength to face the evils of this world?"
You "I will do my best."
Maplecrest: "Great. Why don't we start by having you familiarize yourself with some of the core issues at hand. Just down the hall is the hall of two twin wizards, Arcra and Arcron."
You "Beppe from Summer's Hollow mentioned them!"
Maplecrest: "Go visit with Arcra and ask her about a few things. Ask about Mallok, the Elder Bosses, and Elder Gear."
...
Arcra: "I'm old! But I'm spry! Are you curious about Elder Restorations?"
You "Who was Mallok?"
Arcra: "Unfortunately the information and history on Mallok has been lost, all we know is that he was essentially evil incarnate, and that the Elders had to sacrifice their lives to stop him."
You "What is Elder gear?"
Arcra: "Elder gear is special and powerful gear. It is infused with varying amounts of the Elders' power, thus granting elder spells and feats. They say that the Elders blessed all the gear of their followers just prior to the war against Mallok. That equipment is what you seek now."
You "What is an Elder Boss?"
Arcra: "Elder Bosses are powerful creatures that live throughout the Seven Realms. These bosses have discovered ancient fragments, and have leeched power from them. They are dangerous and evil, and must be stopped."
You "Bye."
Arcra: "Good tidings, <Player_Name>."

Maplecrest: "Good tidings, <Player_Name>."
Maplecrest: "Keep an eye out, have you spoken with Arcra?"
You "I have met with Arcra, and learned about the current situation.
Maplecrest: "Great! I think you are now ready to begin your journey aiding the Seven Realms."
Gained 4550 experience!
You "I am. What would you have me do?"
Maplecrest: "There is a local ring of Elder Bosses that live nearby. One lives in the dungeon of this very keep, the others are in nearby zones. Find them all, and slay them."
